I stuck some rubber grips to the underside of the unit and that seems to have mostly solved the problem, although pulling too hard on the yoke occasionally dislodges it.(A handy tip: If you are sitting on a chair with wheels, and try to use this yoke, you will lose control). Upgrading from a joystick to this yoke made such a huge difference that I was smiling from ear to ear the first time I used it - it just feels so much more realistic. 4 stars instead of 5 because the table clamps are too wide apart for clamping onto my 15mm thick Ikea desk.
The throtle is built in to the case.It is everything I wanted.There is no need to buy a more expensive yoke.
I do recommend it. seem to be smooth. It is what I expected. I have been using it for a few weeks and the sensor outputs (pots).
I'm very happy with the quality of this product and it has taken me to a new level of flying enjoyment. I received this product in perfect condition, took it out of the box, mounted it on my desk, plugged it into my computer and was flying. I can say nothing bad about this yoke and if I need anymore toys I'm sure I will get them from amazon and CH. Being an amateur with flight simulator I used a Joy Stick, then I heard about CH Products. I purchased this yoke and have never been happier.
There are plenty of buttons and it's nice that they put the throttles on there too. It now mounts perfectly on my desk and works beautifully. The only thing that would make this better would be a second hat switch, but I'm doing fine without it. I just received my CHProducts today and I am overly impressed. When I first got it I was pretty disappointed and afraid that I would have to return it because it would not mount on my desk because it was too thin, but I was easily able to fix this with a piece of wood, a ruler, and a saw.
